“In the early 1900’s, a movement of God’s spirit began to be poured out on this nation.  It was evident that God’s time clock was beginning a new dispensation.  God looked and found a man who was sick of the world and the hypocrisy it contained: Bro. William Sowders – a man God would use to clean off the foundation of the early church.

Men had begun to build, using wood, hay and stubble.  In Bro. William Sowders, God had a man who would preach “HIS GOSPEL”.  Many teachings were restored.  He began to use gold, silver and precious stones in God’s building.  He not only began to reveal, but to establish truths in the hearts of the people  He led the way, pointing out a better way – the pathways of CHARITY.  Teaching us to love one another and to strive for the unity of the FAITH.

We are no longer in little mission houses, but we have not forsaken the truths that were established, nor forgotten one another.  We are thankful for those who labored with him and after him.  Men of caliber and standing, such as Bro. James Sowders, who pastored here for over forty years; and Bro. Clarence Rader, who worked hand in hand with Bro. James Sowders and with whom I had the honor to work with to continue the restoration of God’s Kingdom.

Let us hold fast to the truth of God, love the brotherhood, and put on charity until we come to the unity of the faith!”
